Belews Creek Structural Fill Cap

Stokes County, Walnut Cove, North Carolina
This is a 22 acre closure of a Beneficial Re-Use Fly Ash "Structural Fill" Area for Duke Energy. 115,000 tons of fly ash were relocated to the Craig Road Landfill for disposal, fill was then regraded to reach the proper slopes and grades as required.

Seminole Road Landfill Phase 2A Closure

DeKalb County, Atlanta, Georgia
Phillips and Jordan was contracted by DeKalb County, Georgia to perform the closure of Phase 2A of the Seminole Road Landfill.  The closure included: removal and backfill, relocation of onsite soil materials, stone topping, access road, curb and gutter, grassing, and matting.

This project consisted of approximately 33 acres of composite liner system for flyash disposal from the nearby steam plant.
